Vogue-Inspired Creative Session with Stephanie in Orlando, Florida
When your beautiful best friend says there’s an exploding flower wall down the street from her house, you take full photographic advantage.
Earlier this spring I was invited to fly down to Orlando for some shoots, one of them being a creative session with my girl Stephanie. We didn’t have any specific plans for this one, we just knew we wanted to ride whatever wave of inspiration hit us at the time. The day we were scheduled for this shoot, Stephanie and I began our morning with all the coffee and flipping through Vogue Magazines. We promptly took to her coset to begin styling our editorial styled shoot. Once we had our vision, everything fell into place and we were ready to get weird. Odd makeup, mix-matched styling, eclectic accessories — we were stoked!
We literally shot this on the side of the road, during rush hour. It was actually quite fun seeing how we were entertaining the people driving and walking by. Stephanie and I legit felt like we were shooting a Vogue cover (…ok, maybe not quite, but a girl can dream, can’t she?).
This shoot definitely exceeding our expectations. Concepts like this are food for my artistic soul, and I’m so grateful for people who are open to getting creative with me.
