2022: Year in Review
With 2022 coming to a close, I find myself reflecting and feeling incredibly grateful. One of the greatest joys of this season is the opportunity to say thank you to my loyal clients and wish you the very best for the new year.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for choosing my services and trusting me with your photography needs. It has been an absolute pleasure serving you and supplying you with beautiful documented memories, and I hope that I can have the pleasure of providing for you for many more years to come.
If it weren’t for my clients, customers, supporters, fans — my business wouldn’t be where it is right now. The past few years have been particularly tough and I’m just so grateful for the support I’ve received.
What I’m Celebrating
• Kelsey & Josh’s 2020 Lexington Wedding was featured on Kentucky Bride earlier this year!
• For the first time since launching my business in 2017, I had to close my books before the end of the year. What a blessing!
• I photographed the highest volume of photo sessions in a calendar year so far — over 15 families, 10 boudoir shoots, 7 weddings, 4 couples, 4 commercial clients, 3 senior portrait sessions, a bridal shower, and I’m sure I’m leaving some things out. Y’all, my heart is so full.
• This was my first year doing a big Black Friday sale, and I’m very pleased with how it went and the feedback I received. Thanks so much to everyone who grabbed something! If you missed out, no worries — I have officially declared this an annual sale. 😉 There will also be mini session events and some small sales offered occasionally throughout the year. Stay tuned!
Goals for 2023
• Invest — in new gear and photography & business education.
• Consistency — within my marketing, communication, editing and workflow.
• Elevate Client Experience — with better guided posing, educational material, and more thorough shoot prep.
